THD’s CATcare Crew are at it again. On April 29, seven confirmed tornadoes hit Canton, Texas. This very tight knit community faced the devastation of four lives lost, many injuries of friends and loved ones as well as loss of homes and businesses within Van Zandt county. Thankfully “THD’s CATcare Crew” could assist many during this tragic time, by placing these victims in hotels quickly until we locate other temporary housing options for each individual family based on their specific needs.
During a time when many are in such despair, it’s not only helpful but comforting to have a housing vendor physically there along with the insurance carriers, and local agencies all pitching in to repair the loss together. THD prides itself to be available during the recovery phase to help along with the community members rebuild their lives. Not only are we able to assist many people in locating housing and hotels, we are able to simply give those in need a much needed hug, smile and a caring ear to listen to them so they know how much THD does care.
