I have been fortunate to have been with this amazing company since very early on and have had the opportunity to watch it grow over the years. One thing has remained constant throughout this time and that is the fact that no matter how my day is, at the end of the day I know that there is a chance that I have been given the opportunity to help someone through a very difficult time. I love that about this company and the people that I work with and for – our clients.
I live and grew up in the Dallas, Texas area and have been in the Relocation and Housing industry for over 20 years. I have been with Temporary Housing Directory since 2001 and prior to that worked for a Major Relocation Company in Dallas assisting families who were relocating to the area.
I currently live in Flower Mound, Texas with my family. Any free time I have is spent with my two sons and their numerous sports and extracurricular activities.
I truly love working here at THD…each day is never the same – and at the end of every day knowing I have helped repair broken hearts and houses – makes it all worthwhile! Being told by an insured that you are their “angel” is something special and we are so fortunate to be in this business! I have been with THD since the very beginning and I feel so proud to work for a leader who has built a company from a vision – and create and maintain a family environment filled with talented and spirited individuals who all strive for the best for THD!
I am originally from the east coast – grew up in the heart of the Berkshire mountains, lived in Syracuse NY, Pennsylvania, New Hampshire, and now Texas – where I met my husband and we are raising 3 amazing boys!! When I am not helping THD customers, I am on a baseball field, basketball court, or football field!! I love sports (luckily!!), cooking, and spending time with my family and friends! I am also proud to be an active part of Special Olympics with my son!
Working for THD is the best of two worlds – all the corporate benefits along with all the benefits from working in a satellite office. Even though we don’t “see” each other daily, we get together quarterly which makes our get-togethers absolutely the best in fun and friendship and bonding.
Although I don’t deal directly with customers, I live vicariously by hearing all the wonderful notes we receive from the clients praising THD and so very thankful we were always there for them in their time of need – even if only to talk and give them encouraging words.
Last, but absolutely not least, is working for Teresa Vidger and riding along on her vision for this company. She has made the right decisions at the right time so that we have a solid company in spite of our tremendous growth in a relatively short period of existence.
I enjoy fast paced business, diversity in day to day responsibilities, and working with a company that is truly considered part of the family!
I’m originally from Kansas and was given the opportunity to move my family back there after living in several states (Kansas, Oklahoma, Arizona, Texas). I love the outdoors and every activity associated with it. My favorite sport is RUGBY and I like hot days and dirty lakes!
I have worked in accounting and IT departments for a variety of companies during my career and though I’ve always enjoyed what I was doing within the department, I’ve never felt the sense of pride and satisfaction that I feel working for THD. I love the idea that we are here to help people regain a sense of “home”, to try and help them put their lives back together and help make that process as painless as possible. I am also truly fortunate to work with a fantastic team; people who are always ready to go the extra mile and jump on the next challenge with such enthusiasm!
I am a born researcher; I question everything and won’t rest until I have answers. I guess that’s why when I’m not working I try to put some time into researching my genealogy or studying history - at least when my family and I aren’t camping, canoeing or just enjoying the great outdoors.
I love my job because we are here to help others when they are not sure how or what to do in a time of disaster and that means so much to those that are affected by their loss. THD not only puts the customers first but also loves and cares for the employees that make us such a great working team. That is what makes my job the greatest.
I am a Colorado native and love the outdoors. I have a wonderful family, my loving husband, 2 beautiful children that are my most precious joy in life.
We try our best to always have fun in whatever it is we are doing.
