Back in April Temporary Housing Directory rolled out an ALL IN contest to the company. Each month, each department had to come up with a way that bring everyone together whether it was cost savings to Temporary Housing Directory, marketing ideas, and /or just creating a true “all in “ theme awareness! It has been amazing to witness the creativity of our staff – the hotel team was first and knocked it out of the park with starting a Star program! Each employee had to nominate someone within their department and another department who showed exceptional workmanship for the month. At the end of each month those with highest number stars won a prize! This contest is on going through end of year!
The month of June belonged to Customer Care team– which rolled out a “soulcial” networking” program. Each employee was asked to give back, reach out, volunteer etc to their community and turn stories or pictures un a heart-shaped announcement that showed their accomplishments. At the end of the month – whoever had the most “hearts” won a prize.
In July, the housing team created a cookbook with the compilation of delicious recipes from all the employees! The premise was to not only share with one another, but to share it with our adjusters and clients. This has been such a success that we actually made into an online book for sale as well!
Next was the Relocation department’s turn in August! They were asking everyone in THD to get 2 likes on our Facebook page – to get our social network site some serious action! The goal was to get 100 likes for the month! What a surprise when they tripled the goal! Each company member received a customized THD T-shirt!
In September, our Marketing and One Point Team had a 2 part contest for THD’s charity – Rebuilding Together! Every flat donation from each employee gets “an angel” and the more angels – the better chance they have to win prize from drawing held every Friday! The 2nd part – for every lease that THD received – Temporary Housing Directory will donate to Rebuilding Together!
Currently and lastly, the Accounting Team is doing a SMILES theme! They are tracking each “smile” that one of our employee receives internally within the company – and any extra letters that get sent back to us telling us how wonderful someone is!! The winner of the most smiles will win a prize!!
On November 8, 2013 – our president will announce the winner of the team who was the most “ALL IN”!! We are looking forward to hearing the results and enjoying one another at our yearly company holiday party!! We will be posting the results…….to see who is the winner of this great contest!!
