I love that my job is new every day. Even though the technical process is the same, each family that I assist with temporary housing has different needs and requests. I like that what I do means something to the people I’m working with. Knowing they depend on me to help them in one of their life’s worst crisis times keeps me motivated to do the best I can every day for every family.

I live in Central Texas, out in the country & I love it here. I am a licensed realtor and have been in the housing industry most of my adult life. I love reading, gardening, and raising animals.

I love my job because it allows me the opportunity to give back to the world. I am able to help others when they are going through a very tough time. With many of my clients, I become their counselor, friend, and advocate. Daily, I am reminded of how blessed and grateful I am for my life. Also, I am able to apply this unique perspective to the quality of my life and how to face the challenges that may arise.

I am also truly blessed to work with such a loving, wonderful group of people that care so much about their work and others. This life and work philosophy comes from the top - our owner, Teresa Vidger.

I presently reside in beautiful Plano, Texas! "Home is where the Heart is" and for me, that is everywhere! I was raised in an air force family, moving constantly and making a home everywhere we went. That upbringing gave me an incredible education and acceptance about the different ways that people live, work, and play. This has helped me to develop the people skills that I have now to do this wonderful kind of work.

I find that being of service to clients in transition has great rewards. There is always an opportunity to answer a question, ease a concern, or help smooth out stress from the client's having had their life turned upside down. The simple 'thank you' that I get is enough to make me feel blessed to work in Customer Care with this company. The reward of making someone smile makes my day and my heart feel glad! I have many years in customer service in different industries and it's provided a good foundation for dealing with all kinds of client situations and scenarios calmly and efficiently. This job has great variety and requires multi-tasking in many arenas; I get a sense of accomplishment at the end of each day that has me confirm again and again how much I love my job.

My philosophy is that “temporary housing” should indeed be a “home away from home” and an island of serenity in an otherwise potentially chaotic situation. Having over twenty years experience as an insurance adjuster allows me to empathize with clients who have been displaced from their homes and disrupted from their lives, and I truly enjoy helping to make the transition easier from move-in to move out and assisting with any interim needs.

The THD atmosphere is a nurturing environment that uplifts an individual’s strengths and coaches their weaknesses. Individualism is encouraged while the team is celebrated. I feel the impact of my help daily to your customers; you have made a difference in “putting the pieces together” for someone. I am from Colorado and have a background in Customer Service and Communications.

What a privilege it is to have a career that gives me the opportunity to give back to society. This company is not about numbers and the bottom-line – it is about people and caring…I love it! Every day flies by leaving me with a feeling of accomplishment. I am surrounded by professional team members who are supportive and focused. I enjoy the fact that the organization of this company allows me to be connected to and supported by my team members even though I am working from a remote office. What a great team! I am from Idaho! I love family, friends, mountains, rivers and lakes so I know I am living in the right place. Before my career history has been in high-tech Corporate America. What a wonderful change this has been for me.

THD is a wonderful and supportive company  to work for. The team spirit is very inspiring! To work with and for people who are going thru possibly the most trying time in their life leaves me with a sense of accomplishment at the end of each day. My experience with customer service and attention to detail helps our customers with the final step to transition back into their home.

I am from Texas where the motto is "everything is larger in Texas" Especially customer service. My career history has been accounting, business and customer service. I am very family oriented and that makes my job of helping other families even more rewarding.

I have worked for over 20 years in sales and customer service. I am so happy to be part of the THD team. I think being a part of the team that aids people during one of the most difficult times in their lives will be a very rewarding experience. I currently live in central Florida but grew up with my father in the military. We traveled all over the United States of America and parts of Europe. I really enjoy the warm climate and sunshine that Florida offers. My husband, two children and I have lived in this part of Florida for over 10 years. We enjoy boating, swimming and spending lots of time outdoors.
